
April 19 - 22, 2010 Elise Telechan (Production Manager at DRD, LLC) attended an AIIM Expo and Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Elise also attended an ECM (Enterprise Content Management) course in which she learned how to be more efficient for our clients at DRD, LLC. Not only did she walk away with new knowledge of up coming software and hardware, she now has passed the exam and is an AIIM ECM Practitioner. The training programs have been developed based on requirements defined by Education Advisory Groups representing leading solution providers, analysts, consultants and users from both the private and public sector.

American Health Information
Management Association (AHIMA) surveyed 1,117 hospitals and health systems in January 2006 and discovered that HIPAA compliance regarding the privacy of patients' medical records actually declined. In March 2006, the Ohio Supreme Court decided that the state's open-records law superseded HIPAA privacy rules.
